Getting back in after 5 years out of the game...TSM

What's up Traxxas community!? I sold my Traxxas Rustler about 6 years ago... looking to get back into bashing. I got a rustler xl5 for my 13th birthday, ended up doing tons of upgrades to it, including the trading program to vxl brushless. I kept all my upgrade receipts and I remember it being over $1,200 after all upgrades were said and done..sold for like $350 on ebay. YIKES

Anyways, after doing some looking, I've settled on the Slash 2wd model. This TSM is brand new to me, seems like a very cool feature. I'm assuming this is only something that can be used with the stock VXL brushless system? I'm not opposed to the VXL system but I also know I can likely get a brushed 2wd model and upgrade to a castle system or something but likely can't use TSM? Is it worth limiting myself to VXL to have the TSM?

Tsm is nothing more than training wheels on an rc.

There are other solutions to get a gyro assisted guidance control. But may require some hobbycrafting skills instead of bolt-ons.

    Should have realized this
Even with the tsm turned off
Xmaxx with max6 -steering has tsm effect
