    Parts Supply!

    Alright gents,

With the discontinuation of the mighty E-Maxx what parts should we stock up on before the supply drys up? What parts are proprietary?

    I'm thinking:

    Chassis TRA3922A is a must
Original Traxxas bodies seem to be already dried up already

It's a good thing Traxxas still loves the T-Maxx Classic and they share 80% of the parts
    E-Maxx 150A and 2100kv 4-pole

The Emaxx has been discontinued for a while. There’s not going to be much left for parts. You’re better off looking at Tmaxx parts for your Emaxx.

That reply wasn't any help and didn't address the questions. I am currently finding parts BTW so they are still available to some extent. The question remains: "What parts are proprietary?"

From my research of E-Maxx proprietary:
    Chassis TRA3922A and battery holder components 3928 & 3727/3927X
    Center driveshafts 5151X upgrade 5151R
    Chassis braces 3921
    2-Speed kit 3998
    All E-Maxx OEM bodies

Shared components that commonly break or could break:
    Steering components - T-Maxx
    Diffs - XO-1
    Transmission - Summit
    Driveshafts - T-Maxx
    Shocks - T-Maxx
    E-Maxx 150A and 2100kv 4-pole

The only parts that I've noticed (so far) that you can't get from Traxxas (because they're not shared by the TMaxx) is the chassis and the 68T spur gear. You can get them on Amazon though.

JeepRubicon2k3, RegularGuy is a very helpful E-MAXX hobbiest!!

Also, go to eBay and simply check this out as well; cause' there are parts available to purchase there also:

Wow, thanks Jeep, and Max is right. EBay is a good place to go too. I don't know why, but I always seem to forget about them. I don't use eBay nearly as much as Amazon, but I have always had good luck with them when I do.

Give the length of time the E-Maxx was out (and its popularity), I doubt we'll have problems finding parts any time soon. (Hopefully!)

Add the stock aluminum motor mount to that list.
