    stripped servo

I was driving my stampede and I noticed that when I turn all the way to the left the servo makes a loud clicking sound. pretty sure a gear is stripped but I just wanted clarification before I tear the servo apart and buy a rebuild kit.

    Thanks!

Awesome, for a temporary fix do you think since the servo gears do not make a full rotation I can just flip the stripped gear so it is not using the stripped teeth?

I don't know the name of the gear but it is the one that sits on the pin coming down from the top of the servo. Does this make sense?

Sounds like a servo saver possibly. The stock units fail internally sometimes. The servo itself could be fine.
