TSM rated tires. What exactly does that mean.

    Hello,

I see when looking at Traxxas tires that some are TSM rated while are not. I know what TSM is but what does it actually mean to have the tires TSM rated? Is it a performace thing or what?

    Thanks ahead of time.

TSM stands for Traxxas stabilty management i believe. I don't know why tires would be any different, maybe stiffer sidewalls. I would be interested in finding out more too.

Yeah. I am wondering if its just advertising lingo or what it actually means. For what its worth I ordered Traxxas talon tires 2.8 and it says they are TSM rated. I too lok forward to finding this out. Thanks for your response.

Possibly just a high grip tires, or tiers with some kind of feature that makes it handle or grip better. I don't see why it would be TSM rated, maybe it makes the TSM work slightly better?
Jumping: maneuver and pray it won't break.

Apparently these have been out about five years. They're tires that will hold up better to aggressive driving style that TSM will provide. I'm thinking a little longer wearing tire.

    Maybe they mean "self-righting"?

That would be the best selling tire on the market for sure!
