    2.8 wheels

So I bought a set of the trencher lp 2.8 tires and I'm trying to find a set of wheels I like to pair with them and I havent really been able to find hardly any wheels online when searching. All I find is tire wheel combos. Is the a site out there that just sells wheels and not the combo.

Realistically, you have two options, as non-Traxxas 2.8 wheels are far-and-few-between. You can buy the already-mounted wheela/tires, use a CA debonder to remove the tires, and mount up the tires you bought...or, you can do what most others do, which is to switch to 2.2"/3" SCT wheels & tires. You will discover a MUCH large wheel & tire selection going this route.

They do have 2.8 wheels, but em EXTREMELY limited selection - Desperado & F11...that's it. Anything else is pre-mounted only. Searching eBay & Amazon, you can find some "off-brand" (usually, that means "cheap Asian import") wheels. It almost seems as if Traxxas came up with this 'off' size purposely.

Didn't know that...and, yup, they do. Although, they look extremely similar to the Pro-Line F11. At least, it gives the Op tattoo different choices for (almost) the same wheel.

In addition to the wheels mentioned above, I can think of four Traxxas wheels which fits:

Good point! I haven't tested the Jato wheels, but they look flimsy. Thank you for letting us know!
