    2.8 Desperado Trencher Fitment

So i've been looking around everywhere to make sure I buy the right wheel that'll fit my slash 4x4. Really want the 2.8 desperado trenchers, they look sick! I'm aware that the fronts have different offset, but I read that buying the "fronts" means the hex wont fit on my slash 4x4? Some people are rocking rears all around?Looked everywhere and get mixed information on it. Can I buy 2 fronts and 2 rears? should I go with 4 rears? If so, anyone have part numbers? Picking up the HS-645MG servo, traxxas alum bellcranks and an alum servo horn, so I'll be handle these fat wheels. Just wanna make sure I buy the right set!

Are these Pro Line wheels? I don't see them on their site https://www.prolineracing.com/1-10-m...-truck-wheels/

Yeah the "desperado black" rims aren't on proline's website, they must be an old model. You can get them off amazon and other places though. It would be the same as the regular 2.8 trencher's they're currently selling, just a different rim I think. This is what they look like. https://www.rcsuperstore.com/pro-lin...mpede-rustler/

it doesn't say on that rc store but off amazon in this description it says it'll work for the stampede 4x4 fr/rear and i believe pede's parts are interchangable with slash right? https://www.amazon.com/PROLINE-Trenc.../dp/B07BPMM4FC

You'll have to get part number 1170-12 from Proline if you want the same width as the Stampede 4x4 which has the same A-arms as the Slash 4x4. On the 4x4's the A-arms are the same front and rear.

The 1170-13 part is for the Stampede 2WD rear. The 2WD has different lengths on the front and rear A-arms. You can use the 1170-13 on the Slash 4x4 aswell, but it will narrow the width. In any case you don't want to mix the 1170-12 and 1170-13 on a 4x4. This will result in different track widths front and rear.

    Hope this clearified the issue...
