Lock down upgrades

Ive rekindled a recent love affair with my 2.0, i forgot how fast it was, i kept popping those screws out on the underside of the front hubs so i went gpm and thread lock. Problem solved. I also treated her to a new body.

I damaged the one back foam the other day but it won't get changed until it's totally dead. I tend to buy foams in bulk their so cheap.

Nice build. I just realized I am starting a little list too since I drive the 4-tec the most during this lockdown.
Yeah racing cvd (4)
Tamiya front camber links
Home Depot droop screws
MST wheels and tires
2.8 white stripe front springs
Traxxas rear spool
Stampede 12/47 ring and pinion (1.4 cs mod)

Fantastic car!
Some things that I would upgrade/change on mines:
- Traxxas CVD
- Adjustable camber links
- Softer springs (-2 from stock)
- Hobbywing Max 10 Brushless combo
- Smaller pinion (for more low-end torque)

Fun build, I havent driven mine since the lockdown. Last year I slowly ended up collecting one of each spring rate, I like stiffer if I want to to 40-45ish mph figure 8s.

Well i went out a few days ago and hit a post at full throttle on 3s, the dreaded clink that we all hate to hear.

Unbelievably the only broken part is the motor plate. They are out of stock in the uk at the moment but got one from France with some hefty postage. It's a testiment to the strength of these cars for getting away with it so lightly.

While at it I've gone for a 120a esc and motor, that should add even more "pop"
