Snap on Edition X want to make blue

Got a 8s snap on edition that I ordered a blue body. I have red shocks and stub axles. Any ideas on turning those parts blue. It looks like itll be 140 to replace with blue and that's double what the blue body cost. Are there wheel caps to cover axle or will painting them work? Got any other ideas then spending that much just for color? Now I just wish I'd ordered a red body. Someone wants to trade blue stuff for red lol?

Trade or get the aluminum in red. Paint will wear off.
You could get shock socks and get capped hot racing wheel nuts

Thought bout socks but anything above adjustment for spring will still see correct? Yeah easy to say just get red parts but cost is a factor lol I still need other stuff so guess trade is best hope then.

Yea everything above the perch.
Maybe look for just new socks and keep the axles?
When these are in stock get them.
They add up to the same as just getting 4 of traxxas 7765R
