    steering delay on power-on

I had a strange problem with the steering on my 4Tec 3.3 Nitro car.

When the transmitter/receiver are powered on the throttle servo operates immediately.
But the steering servo takes a few seconds before it operates.

I have upgraded the transmitter/receiver to a new TQi 4-channel with Traxxas link and 6533 TSM receiver and the situation is the same.

After the delay the steering operates properly
    Is this normal?
    Thanks
    Tony

Plug the throttle into Ch1 and steering into Ch2 and see if the problem follows the radio or servo.

It does the same thing with old and new radio/transmitter. I guess that means it is a servo issue?
