steering question

I keep seeing bell crank steering listed for the stampede. is this a real thing or just to get you to look at it or buy it? If it is a real thing how does it work and is it worth changing over to it?

A 2wd stampede with a good servo and a good servo saver is probably the most sharp steering traxxas out there, being one of the very few traxxas cars without a bell crank. I wouldn’t change it for the world.

The simple and effective steering on the 2pede is great.
The slight increase in bump-steer is way outweighed by the lack of slop.
Still my favourite truck, I’ve tried most...

When I started in rc I started with a pede. Then I saw the models with bell ranks and thought to myself well that’s fancy, must be better. Oh the things I can tell me younger self. Lol
