Chassis Brace for brand new MERV VXL?

I purchased a brand new mini E Revo vxl from my LHS. Should come in next week. I went to T Bone Racing to purchase a full chassis brace but they are all out of stock. I emailed them twice and I even messaged them on IG. No reply. Does anyone know when they will carry them again? No sure they are still in business or not?

Any must have upgrades for the MERV?

This is my second Traxxas. I have a 2wd Rustler VXL that I had for 4-5 years. That thing is a monster and can take bashing really well.

    Thanks

Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the Traxxas forums!

    ???
Looks like their 1 and 3-Piece chassis brace kits are still available:

Sorry I should of been more specific. I am looking at the 4 piece with the wheelie bar. Definitely need a wheelie bar for the VXL.

    I understand now.

I have the 4-Piece on my MERV. I took off the front bumper and did my own thing, but it's great!

...could always get the 3-piece for now and get the wheelie bar when it's back in stock.

That thing is sweet! Love the body. What wheels and tires are those?

I thought about doing that but I do not see a separate wheelie bar to purchase separately at a later date on their site if I purchase the 3 piece setup.

Thank you so much for that link. Makes sense to buy the 3 piece brace and get the wheelie bar separately when it becomes available. I went under the 1/16 revo section on their website but no wheelie bar was on their page.

    Thanks for helping out!

I have not been using her much since I been trying to find a good 3s battery so please excuse the dust but this is the setup I use. I offered it just for comparison sake. I have the single piece T-bone brace with the stock wheelie bar.

How do you like the Banditos? I was thinking of getting them just to try them out. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their SC version.

They work surprisingly well on pavement and other hard surfaces that allow them some bite. Loose debris or gravel tho and they get slippery. But so far for Duratrax they are not wearing too fast. I have the C3 ST versions.
