Paint Rub Off at Clip Area

Can anyone tell me why I am getting paint rub off near the body clip area with the washer provided? Is there anyway to prevent this? I also have a Bigfoot with paint rubbing off on the bed mount support and have yet to find a way to prevent it.

There is still a bit of play between the body and the body posts, the vibration from driving moves them around, which makes the bodyposts (or washers) scratch off the paint. There's not exactly a way to prevent it, but sticking duct tape around the hole (under the body) may help.

I found some nice foam ones that have an adhesive backing. If you stick them on the inside of the shell, it helps a bit.

I put Shoe Goo around this area, prevents the paint from coming off.

If it is fresh paint, wait two or three days after the last coat to allow the paint to fully cure.
