Post some pictures of what happens, and maybe us guy who run stock can come up with an idea that will help.
Life's to short to be a sour puss.
Are the hubs from MIP or EM Performance? I ask because I can’t find anything from MIP but lots of hits on a XO-1 adapter from EMP to accommodate 18mm square hubs.
definately not MIP as i bought them WITH MY HEAD IN THE DARK ...................... thanks

That’s cool. I didn’t see anything on their website. Drop a pic when you have a sec and we can help with your issue.

No worries man. I forget more than I remember these days.
The other day, went to the hobby store to pickup a part for my Slash only to get home and find out I already had 2 of them! Lol
The iPad or iPhone app Tapatalk allows you to easily post pictures into these threads. If you’re accessing this forum via a web browser, then I believe you need a picture hosting site which can be a pain.
Without seeing the pics, I’m not clear on what the issue is. Would you elaborate?
Great!
I’m considering the same mod to to run 1/5 wheels. What advice did the manufacturer provide to fix your issue?
they said to try locktite (blue) ......... havent had a change yet

I’m assuming you’re using the loctite on the screw pin that holds the adapter to the spindle. Is the pin backing itself out?
.. i tighten & retighten ... just made me look silly
yes i do tighten . went to auto parts today ............. hmmm how much we miss in lock down ............ NEW to me ... Purple lock tite !! says softer than blue . so many to chose from ............. trying purple !

The website for emp shows it comes with a washer and a lock washer for the spindle, I assume those go between the wheel and the hex hut? You see using those too right?
Is the hex nut nyloc? If not maybe get same size nyloc nut so you have both that and the lock washer to keep the hex nut from backing out.
mine are different . pix below . look at the hub ........... steve

got it ready . see if it thows a shoe ...........

ok , got my head out & figured out why . i used Loctite (purple) on axle & set screws . (a lil dab will do you )
also learned that there are set screws to hold pins in axle-hub pivots . yes my head was not in the sunlite !
but all should be good now . thank you all for making me rethink my work ................ steve
