    Outrunner motor vs mud

Hey guys I've been looking for a outrunner motor and I'm leaning towards the holmes hobbies revolver but I'm not sure if it can handle water and mud that the inrunners can handle as anyone had it in mud or water?

I think an open motor isn't good for mud and water.

Brushless motors aren't waterproof by themselves, most brushless motors these days are completely sealed (other than the opened racing ones that are vented for cooling)

Outrunner motors are pretty much completely exposed to the elements, I would avoid mud and water, but if you just run through it lightly and not splash around in it, you should be fine.
Jumping: maneuver and pray it won't break.
