Thumbs up I have a Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus 6amp,How should i charge (non-Traxxas) NIMH Batteries??

    Hello all..

I have 5 NIMH Batteries on need of charging.... I have the Traxxas EZ-Peak Plus 6amp Charger but i can't figure out the Amp & Time equation to charge the batteries.. I know a certain AMP for a certain charging TIME duration would be different for my batteries, I was wondering if anyone had the formula?

To my understanding, only Traxxas batteries can auto-charge smartly on a Traxxas charger, however i have 5 NIMH batts of different types... Can someone who knows, let me know the settings for the following?

    1. Torro NI-MH 7.2v 2000mAh
    2. Torro NI-MH 7.2v 2000mAh
    3. Venom NI-MH 7.2v 3000mAh
    4. Gens ACO NI-MH 7.2v 5000mAh
    5. Melasta NI-MH 7.2v 5000mAh

    Please let me know! Thanks!

I do not know this charger. But basic electronics tell me.

Battery size / charge amps = time to charge battery.

    So 2000mha / 1amp = 2h charge.

1 to 2 amps charge rate for nmhi is probably ideal some can do more but all depends on what your batteries can handle.

The first digit if the mAh is generally what I charge the pack at. Although I'd max out at 4 amps on the nihms. Better late than never
I'm not afraid of my fellow man.
