Will a hobby wing 3660 sl motor fit in the 4x4 stampede ?

Checking to see if anyone has mounted this motor in the stampede . Hobby wing said they didn't know for sure . Hoping someone here knows .

I'm running a 3674 motor in my Stampede 4x4 right now, so I can't see any reason why a 3660 motor wouldn't fit.

3660 fits without moving the esc though. Guess almost anything will fit it you reconfigure.

I ran the max10 sct/3660sl in mine for a bit. Ended up running a hobbystar 3665/3100kv motor which ran cooler and performed better on 3S. The 3660sl ran hot. The 3665 did ok, but I ended up ditching the 1/10th system and going with a 1/8th 4074/2200kv motor and blx185 (150A) esc. I swapped to the slash chassis to give me more room for that.

I can't compair with a stock VXL, I never used that motor in my Stampede.
    I run a 14t or 15t pinion on 2S, with Badlands MX28-tires.
I haven't had any temp problems so far.
