    Question on electronics

I just baught a roller LCG 4x4 platinum. practically new.

I have a brand new Stampede 4x4 VXL that i don't use. I can pull the Motor, Esc, Receiver out and just drop in the Slash.

or should i just purchase something else to drop in?

My main thing is i want to stay Traxxas batteries cause i have the Dual Live charger and a large amount of Traxxas batteries. i would rather not put it in Manual mode.

Any ideas on a non Traxxas setup that will use Traxxas batteries without cutting wires? mind you i haven't talked to LHS yet.

any input would be great before i head over to LHS. Thanks in Advance. TGIF!

Yes you can use those electronics. Just purchase the proper pinion for your tire size and performance desires.

You can use just about any other non-Traxxas ESC/motor combo that would fit and some offer to be shipped with the Traxxas connector installed whereas others require you to solder one on.

If you decide to go new, you could purchase a new Traxxas motor/esc combo. A non Traxxas example would be a Hobbywing Max10 or Max8 combo. Both can be ordered with Traxxas connectors already installed.

Iím personally running the Max8 with the 2200kv motor and love it. There is also a combo with a 2600kv motor. Love that it can support from 3s and up to 6s, which makes it very flexible.

Thanks a lot! Still searching around.

Meanwhile this is running for now. I’m also testing tap talk.

So far, I have only run Castle and Tekin on my rigs with no complaints.

Yeah a couple weeks ago i bought the stampede and ran it once. Now its just a roller. i'm going to probably get rid of it as a roller or use it for spare parts. I am more into LCG but i thought i would give the 4x4 stamp a try.

    i love my Slash, Rusty.
