Probably just stick to putting the accessories on the rack, or the rack "up-rights". That's all we've done, the fire extinguishers being on the up-rights.
But, I've just bought a body reamer which is super sharp, just in case I feel a desperate need for "real" door handles or front wing vents......![]()

Spongy tape works, only in certain places and certain quantities. You want to trim as much away as possible, without trimming away so much that it doesn't stick. If you're sticking something round like a fire extinguisher, best have a mount for it that has a flat back and tape that on. Try avoiding using tape to attach things on corners.
Jumping: maneuver and pray it won't break.
I should probably clarify that i use spongy tape on the "flat" things - jerrycans, Coke crate etc, but the extinguishers went on with tiny cabe ties. I try and use as little tape as possible, if only because I'm bound to need to take stuff off at some point!
In reality, I have found that it is quite resilient even in, shock-horror, roll-over situations. I fixed each Coke bottle in its crate with a piece of "blu-tac", and even they stay in place!

The size of the sort that comes with the Traxxas "extras" (light kits etc) is what I use. I have them as part of a box of assorted sizes that I bought some years ago. They are just about acceptable to look like rubber straps or something similar, so worked well for the traction boards etc.

Cool shots. But are you able to climb the terrain you’re in. Just looks like a truck on its side.

Wow thats awesome. I love how you can see the suspension work and the tires crinkle amd stuff. Thats amazing.
You can actually see how hard it is on the truck itself when it lands. So cool.![]()
Are you using a cell phone for those shots?
