    Included Remote Question

Did Traxxas change the included remote at some point for the X-Maxx? I purchased the 8S version on Monday and noticed the remote does have the 50/50 - 60/40 switch for the throttle, yet the manual still reflects a different version. Thanks.

Yes they got rid of the 70/30 switch on the newer remotes. They did not update the manuals yet to reflect the change

Ah and Welcome to the xmaxx club. Happy bashing.

Form search is awesome. For most questions. And lots of us here to help out.

In most cases, this switch is useless.

Thanks for the replies, I would never use the switch but was curious. I tried it on a nitro T-Max I had around 2004 and never really liked it. I'll try and do a forum search on the remote programming. I need to figure out where the starting point is for each option like steering expo and throttle sensitivity.

Blue tooth link module and app is easiest way.

End of manual had the tx menu tree

If setting steering end points tsm must be off.
