    Turn ESC around?

Has anyone ever turned their ESC around? See any reason not to do this? If oriented like this, i could fit a single 40mm fan over the ESC and the motor. Just feeling like I'm missing something.

It would just make it harder to get to the buttons, and for air to roll over it. But with a fan the airflow shouldn’t be an issue.

Here is how I approached mine. 40mm fan on an integy heat sink with a 25 mm fan screwed into the ESC fins.

My cables will not reach. Can I turn my ESC around?

I don't see why you couldn't turn it around. The only thing it would affect is how it stays in place. The ESC is locked in by the tabs that get held in by the battery doors.

Yeah I'll have to grind a little plastic, but nothing that would prevent me from putting it back.

    Guess I'll do that!

That is excellent. I'll probably do that if I can make it work with what I've got.
