    Slash 4x4 aluminum upgrades

    Hi guys
First post and I would like to say hello to all fellow rc fans
As heading states I have all integy rc aluminum arms and knuckles also Traxxas steering blocks.
I want to upgrade the servo horn and the link bar but I don't see anywhere listed for slash.
Any of you know where to get this ?

    Welcome to the board..

I don't believe Traxxas makes an aluminum one. I have seen them from Hot Racing and ST Racing.
I personally want to try the hot racing one.

    Thanks
I had a castle mamba max esc with a castle 3800kv now with the max 8 the castle 1515 is 2200kv I think
This is so slow it will not balloon the tires or even spin in dirt. It is so ****ty that I almost tossed in the garbage.
Something must be wrong or I am doing something wrong that I just don't see
Even any youtube video with this esc the rc trucks are stupid fast
Even a fresh balance charge of the 4s makes the slash move like it is 2s with a 1/10'scale esc
    I can't understand this

Did you calibrate the esc to the receiver when you installed it?

I run a blx185/4074 2200kv in my slampede on 3S with 20/54 gearing and 2.8" trenchers. It runs around 40mph if I had to guess. Can be quite a handful at speed. I know yours is a slash, so assuming your running smaller slash type wheels/tires on it, but would have to guess 54/20 on 4S would still be pretty quick.

    Thank you
I love traxxas and the slash 4x4
I am trying to get it to take off with a wheelie or do that when the throttle is opened
A friend has the same but 2wd and it wheeles all the time.
I did ever thing the manual called for step be step. I reset it and did it over 4 times
If you could see this you would laugh at how it acts
I am going to get a 6s and pinions in 24,26,28,32
I watch v2vids here in Canada when he is going to a new longest water crossed record and he gave the rc truck a set of gears the look like the same size .
So this truck is going to go one way or the other

    update
i think i may have found the problem with this esc no fan
it is only days old and last night i watched a youtube video on this esc and i could hear the fan running.
i started my slash again and saw that the fan was not running, seems the plug was not seated correctly . i fixed that and now the fan runs like it should . it was late so i had to wait till after work today.
i just tried it and it will flip over backwards now it is like night and day
so all i can figure is that it was in thermal shut down in some type of limp mode
