Might have bought a B&M alloy set and a set of mod 1.5 gears. I already have a motor and esc.

And this 30/35

This will be my second modded Xmaxx.
First one was done with hobbywing and Wfo
This one will use a spectrum esc and 800 kv
We shall see if the parts come.
Perfect thanks.
This stuff looks nice.

That's a lot of money for aluminum. If it was gold, then okay. You can get the motor and ESC mount for under a hundred bucks. Then I'd do this for your battery trays. It works good, looks good, less weight, and a whole lot cheaper.

I don’t use the battery trays the smc batteries I have fit in the stock location using the stock hold downs.
It may be a few bucks but the quality is good.
So they don’t have my 30/35 gears. They are suggesting 33/33. Any thoughts? What can I expect? Faster slower? I have another Xmaxx with 30/35 gearing and it is fast and perfect. I don’t know what the 33/33 will be like. I will be running a dynamite fuse 800kv
Sure, Traxxas Spartan battery straps. If you have any other questions let me know.

The post I did on this mod got messed up, back when the guys at Photobucket decided to be a rear-end-opening, but here's a guy that made a nice video of my battery mod.

Spoke to Nathan yesterday. Great guy! My stuff is in its way to Canada.
Canada? I didn't think people in Canada played with RC stuff. I thought they just stayed in the house trying to stay warm. I stand corrected! (lol) Glad to hear things are working out for you with your new truck.
