7,4 Volt - can i run it with the TQI Reciever?

    Hello,

can i run 7,4 Volt (Hobbywing 1080 or Axe FOc) with the stock TQI Reciever (upgraded it from the TQ) in my TRX-4 Sport?

I have no Mini-Servos and a 7,4 Volt Steering Servo.
It is just the TQI Reciever that could not like it...

Some people have said that they have ran their TQi RX at higher voltages, but every time I have tried I have fried them. They are only rated at 6VDC.

I haven't tried it yet, but I wouldn't push it too far.

I've tried it once, even with the mini servos, it worked, but I only did it for about 1 minute. Somehow I didn't fry the receiver or mini servos, but I've heard that the Traxxas ones aren't built for 7.4v
Jumping: maneuver and pray it won't break.
