The xlx is no more, all hail the XLX-2

    Party time for power junkies!

    https://www.castlecreations.com/en/m...ec-010-0167-00

Some data points to show what has transpired between the two

    https://www.castlecreations.com/en/xlxvsxlx2

Example 1 is from an Arrma Typhon running on 8s.

The XLX max temp was 233.9° F, max ripple was 2.42v, max speed was 153 MPH
The XLX2 max temp was 116.3° F, max ripple was 0.86v, max speed was 156 MPH
XLX data log screen shot; XLX2 data log screenshot

Example 2 is from an Arrma Limitless GT running on 8s.

The XLX max temp was 229.2°F, max ripple was 2.85v, max speed was 158 MPH
The XLX2 max temp was 140.2° F, max ripple was 1.62v, max speed was 158 MPH

Now the waiting game for a traxxas answer to the limitless begins...I love my xo-1s but the limitation brought on by the slash based drivetrain is evident in 2020 compared to the 1/8 and 1/7 scale based competitors...

Nice! I was wondering when a sensored XLX would be released.
    Thanks for posting!

Me too. This is big, nay, huge at least for “more power” crowd. Lol.

Looks like they are adding a 2028 1100kv motor also.

This is a market they’ve missed for years. Glad to see the addition.
