Newbie to slash. What’s the common parts should I have spares of?

As for spares: A-arms, body clips, batteries and time.

What betteries are you running? If 3S, may need spare drive shafts or upgrade the to MIP or Teknos.

Hey Bud. Thanks!! Ya I’m running 3s on stock gears. Going good so far. Seems very durable and lotsa of fun. Traxxas Tough.

Have fun with your Sl4sh, they are very durable. Another handy thing to have is Loc-Tite, for when screwing metals screws into metal. But looking at your RC list, you probably do already.

I would also get some rpm rear bearing carriers. Mine broke right away

Congrats on the new ultimate.. I bought the same not long ago.

I am very happy with my setup. While everyone preferences are different, here is what I did:

- Rear shock tower on front conversion (using xx-long hard anodized gtrs)
- Heavy duty metal center diff
- Hot racing ESC heatsink and fan
- two yeah racing aluminum boost fans with 540 motor mounts
- 50k front diff oil, 60k center diff oil, and 20k rear diff oil
- 50wt shock oil in front and back
- double blue gtr shock springs front and rear
- outerwears chassis shroud
- a-arm guards front and rear
- Traxxas aluminum chassis brace

First off congrats on your putchace. Running 3s your going to want to have a couple spare driveshafts on hand. The shock shafts and caps are a big week point. Traxxas has hardend shafts and anluminum caps thatll hold up better. Get a chassis brace for sure if youll be hitting jumps regularly. Run it hard see what you break and upgrade.

I have gotten all the rpm parts I can. And they are very durable. Can't go wrong

My suggestion to you is to upgrade your cv axles and put a heatsink and Yeah Racing fan on the motor. Get the fan for the esc and drive the wheels off of it

Yeah Racing Tornado fans are a must have item
