Who can tell me a good decently cheap nitro engine that will work in a tmaxx 3.3

What are you looking for? The list Double G gave are the only ones that I know of also that would drop in. Going with other than drop-in your going to probably do some type of modification. Not many nitro engines to select from anymore.

Very few drop-in. Traxxas 2.5, 3.3; Dynamite .19T Mach 2 and the O.S. .21TM (which according to O.S.'s site shows up in their discontinued list).
