Traxxas TRX4 Defender Stock on 3S

Hello,

For my first post, here is a short video of my Defender running on 3S. I found an interesting track with few rocks, perfect to challenge TSM... (look for Gravelle, Bois de Vincennes, east of Paris)...
The only upgrade is the BEC and TRX2250 servo, otherwise it's still stock.
I find the 3S much better than 2S, even for crawling. Much more power and fun...

Yup, it is always better to have more power than what you want/need. With the BEC and upgraded servo, your electronics should be solid; the XL5-HV is actually a good ESC when you bypass its 1A internal BEC.

My wife and I are running the 3s batteries, also now with the Traxxas BEC and 2250 servo and the 8247 metal servo horns. We have added some portal weights, which have made a difference, but otherwise, stock and that seems enough for what we want to do I think you'll enjoy the Defender.
