I made a nascar body for my traxas slash. Couldn't,t find one so I made one. Would love to show some pic but don't know how? Petty43
If you use Tapatalk, you can load it as a file right from a phone.. I believe Parma makes a Monte Carlo body that you could use to make retro NASCAR body

Not sure on sending from my phone but I will figure it out. I don't need a NASCAR body I already have one. It was made to fit on the Traxxas slash. I vacuum formed about 30 of them so far.
In order to post pics you need a hosting site. Tap a talk app is the easiest way

I will get my son to help me on that.
I'm interested in a Nascar body for my LCG slash. Let's see some photos![]()
Parma? Are you thinking about the 87 Monte Carlo by JConcepts?

By the OP’s screen name, he probably wants a Plymouth or Pontiac...

I got lots of photos of my nascar bodys. Wish I could sent you one. I got tired of looking for one on line. So I make my own. And my bodys are made to fit the traxxas slash.
PM sent...

That's pretty sweet. I think Parma also did a Monte body for the slash. JC version looks great.

I owned a 6 cyl '81 Monte. Dropped a sb400 and th350 in, 15x8 corvette rally rims and an '85 ss front end on it. It was my pride and joy as a 19 yr old. I miss that car for sure.

OP: In a different thread, someone said that you can e-mail yourself your pictures. Once there, you can open the image in a different tab and copy the address to post here. I tried it and it workes.
If not, just keep sending me your pics and I’ll post them for you.
Good luck!![]()

Start with talking to your wife. Will it be OK to use the oven. Lol. Measure the oven. My plastic just fits. The size the length the width Hass to be the perfect size to fit in the oven. My NASCAR bodies are bigger than any body out there, so I have to be careful. I have been thinking of making a truck body for a while.
Errr make that Mom XD Also, I think the truck body won't be super bad. It's just the slash height (Or maybe a lil taller) Just further back than the stock. How'd you carve the wood, just a huge block? Btw even if I can't do it you should still make a post.

Those are really cool lol. How did you make them? Delta plastik makes a nastruck body for the slash. Here’s the link if you wanna check it out: https://deltaplastikusa.com/products...e-gt-and-slash
I used a chainsaw to cut a block of wood out of a stump. Then used a angle grinder to fine-tune the body. Not the easiest thing to do but a ton of fun. My bodies aren't perfect but I love playing around. I have two NASCAR molds made from wood. I think I will turn one into a truck body. My NASCAR bodies are 21 1/2 inches long.
Well we had this insane windstorm a few weekss ago but the wood is already gone XD I could probably do a multi-part thing.
Ye the Robby Gordon one will fit stock slash w stock bumper (maybe modified posts) So I don't think it'll be much longer than yours, although as you pointed out since it's going to be taller the plastic (unmolded) needs to be longer, but I think it'll fit. Might have to sacrifice some height and tune a litt- a lot to get a good fit XD

really? It just feels to sluggish in the grass for me. You do you tho, it's your moneyand you're not exactly running in the grass often methinks, considering the bodies you're making XD If I was rlly a nascar fan tho I would have gone with a fleet of 4-tecs.
