    Yo,

    Adaptation of engine cooling :

    Preparation

We fix a PC fan, voltage 12 Vdc, supplied with 6 Vdc, so it does not turn at its speed, but as it has a large diameter and large blades, it brews a large volume of air, moreover it will never heat up

We fix a small switch :

    Protective grid :

We start the reassembly, seen with the pilots :

    Operation :

Complete reassembly of the machine :

    Enjoy

    Yo,

    Upgrade rear drive shaft

    MIP Kit :

    Assembling the kit parts :

Comparison of the two trees, the MIP is a little shorter :

Comparison of the weight of the transmission shafts, the original one :

    The MIP :

This driveshaft will work better than the original one, (look at the mark left by the original shaft on the central driveshaft).

With the UDR's large damping travel, the original shaft comes in contact with the center transmission guard, causing the rear link damping to be limited at some point.

With this new Axle there is more radial play (as it is shorter) on the center driveshaft (front / rear).

This shaft will work throughout this race, in addition it allows the power to be switched to 6S without any problem over time.

    Good reading
    Enjoy

That's a neat find on the stock driveshaft limiting suspension travel.

Installation of an engine temperature sensor :

Mounting the probe, two points, around the motor :

I put a piece of aluminum tape to hold the probe and the plating of the probe around the engine :

Wiring the probe to the receiver :

After switching on, the receiver recognizes the probe and performs the fitting on its own.
    I love Traxxas !!

    Hello everyone,

A little upgrade today on my UDR, I repainted the rear bumper and the rolling jack:

I replaced the rear arms, as well as the reinforcement bars and the front steering tie rods :

I pierced the lipo tray to cool it down :

With the batteries in place, this will dissipate the heat
