Is there anybody out there that loves the Traxxas sound more than me.? Would like to find a way to change the sound if that is possible. The deceleration sound is awesome.
I don't know if you can change the OBA sound, but I do know that you can buy an aftermarket sound system that will probably sound better and you will be able to choose from a ton of sound files.

You can always look up if you can change the sounds on the Traxxas system but like I said, I'm pretty sure you can't.
The present is theirs; the future, is mine.
I don't have one, but this one sounds link it would sound good:

Meh... for me, it really depends on the RC. For go-fast RCs, I see sound as a bit of a waste, making the truck heavier on top and making the electronics more complicated. But, for scale rigs, it actually adds to the experience. There are a number of guys that add sound to their crawlers/scalers, but has a tendency to make them top heavy. I do have an ESS One+ sound unit in my Kind Hauler, and it really does take the whole build up an notch.

Traxxas has a let off the throttle sound. You could hear the engine slowing down going into a turn. Other systems I've tried do not have that let off sound? Traxxas hit a homerun with the deceleration sound
I know it,s just for looks but I still love the sound.

I wouldn't hold your breath...but...had you asked me years ago if they'd put out the onboard audio, I would have said the same thing! I think different sounds would be neat.
