    Prerunner running full speed once battery connected

    Hey good day,

    My prerunner is stock, except that I bought a 2s lipo for it.
    Been running great for about a year, and now once I connect the battery, the tires run at full speed and the controller can’t stop it. I’m able to turn the wheels left to right, but I can’t stop the tires from spinning unless I disconnect the battery.

    Any help here?

    I know that the ESC automatically prevents the car from running away by keeping the motor off if there is not signal from the transmitter.
