    Esc question

Hey everyone, I'm having a weird issue going on with my erbe. I plug in my batteries, turn on my controller, then turn on my revo 6s. When I push the button to turn it back off it won't shut down. I have to unplug the batteries to get it to shut down. Am I doing something wrong or is this a common issue? Also wondering if there is a way I can download the parts list and manual or do I need to get it from traxxas directly

Parts list and manuals are on the traxxas website. Find your model and then look for the support link.

I think others on the forum have indicated that the esc power off thing is actually a new "feature" in the esc firmware, but others can talk to that better than I can.

The VXL-6s ESC is intended to have batteries unplugged to shut it off.
Here is the link to info :https://traxxas.com/news/vxl6s-firmware-update

Under support you can download the Exploded views, Parts list, and Manual:

Like grizzly03 stated above ^ you are supposed to unplug the batteries to turn it off. You really should unplug the batteries on any vehicle when it is not in use.

as already mentioned, the battery must be unplugged. Traxxas updated the vxl6s to not turn off via the button because people were killing battery packs ~ supposedly

For me I make a bookmark folder for each of my cars then. Put every page of the parts explosion and parts list for that car in the folder. So I can easily get to it on my phone or pc. And most times googling. car name parts explosion will give pictures of it on first listing

I go tired of google everytime and not sure why it took me so long to just bookmark the pdf pages from trx website

I download each and saved them to my computer also. It's sooo much quicker!
