When I bought my e-revo 2.0 the hobby shop told me I needed super high quality AA. I bought some from them and they just recently died. I have some Panasonic in there right now. I'm curious if there is a recommended battery or if your run of the mill duracell/energizer is fine. Thanks.
I just use Duracell batteries or whatever ones I currently have. Maybe having higher quality would make the radio have a longer range and faster signals, but other than that, I don't think the battery matters too much.
Everyday's a gift, thus now is called the present.
Just use alkaline AA batteries (ie. Duracell or Energizer) and you’ll be fine.
Do not use rechargeable AA batteries.

According to the manual (page 13):
Use the Right Batteries
Your transmitter uses AA batteries. Use new alkaline batteries (part #2914). Do not use rechargeable AA batteries to power the TQi transmitter, as they will not provide sufficient voltage for optimum transmitter performance.

I've been using the energizer lithium batteries for over a year now. They seem to last forever. Worth the extra cost to me.
