Hello
Ok so I ordered a new body for my revo 3.3 and of course it doesn't fit. Body too long. When did the revo extended chassis come out? Now I'm stuck with this unusable body.
Uggh!!!

I thought the 3.3 came with the longer chassis. That was part of the selling point of the 3.3, no? The original 2.5R revo had a shorter chassis.

I know my 5908 Slayer came with a short chassis and the 3.3 engine. Also the S-Maxx was later offered with the 3.3 engine.
You sir are correct. I was answering his question. (Plus, don't think he's going to be back...axed some spam in his post and looking to see if he/she/it copied/pasted from another question to pose as their own.)
Edit: yep...word for word.

Yeah, the slayer came with the shorter chassis, one of my revo's started as a slayer, but it was a 2.5R slayer. My other was a 3.3 revo... I think, it's been so long, I can't remember which was what anymore. Either way, both have the longer 3.3 chassis on them now and both are revo's. One with a LRP28 and one with a 21TM.

It's too bad the chassis wasn't available with the extended addition on the rear instead of the front. It would give plenty of room for a normal .21 engine or bigger without extra modifications.
I thought about trying to weld up a chassis. I always wanted a chassis from Ballistic batteries (I think that was their name) for that reason.
Not sure if they made more than one, but it appears that it was extended in the front as well:

I'm probably wrong. For some reason I thought someone extended both the front and rear. It was probably a one off project on the forum. I had Ballistic Batteries stuck in my head and now I know why, thank you. I enjoyed reading those pitpass projects. They were modified better then, than how the ones now that are all bolt on accessories.
Once New Era dropped out of the scene it seemed that all the other companies did too. It's too bad as I really like the Revo platform.
