Traxxas Easy peak charger #2972

I Recently purchased a Traxxas ezpeak NIMH/Lipo charger part number 2972.
All of my batteries are older with the balance plug.When I put any of them on charge, all of the charge rate lights blink and that’s all it does? Thanks in advance for any help

Are you plugging the balance plugs into the charger?

It's kind of a pain using the Traxxas chargers on non-ID batteries. You need to enter manual mode each time.

It's not that big a deal. You press two buttons simultaneously, choose your charge type and rate, press start. It takes all of 30 seconds.

I guess you haven't used the manual mode on the EZ-Peak Live Chargers. You need to use the app. Yes the non-Live chargers are easier to enter manual mode, but it's still an extra step. Traxxas chargers were designed for the ID technology.

30 extra seconds isn't going to ruin my day. What do you do with all the time you save not pushing the extra buttons?

And yes they're designed for Id tech. What else would Traxxas design them for?

There's no need to be rude...

Just hold the stop/start button and the mode selection botton. It might not be called that honestly I cant remember and im not home at the moment to look. Its the bottom button on the left and the only one on the right. It glows blue.
