Hosspede - A fusion of the old and the new

I just wanted to share a project I am working on with my son to create a Stampede / Hoss fusion. It started as a pretty standard Stampede (built from the unassembled kit) with a Titan 12T motor. I have installed some of the parts from the Hoss and they fit just fine. Great project for those of you contemplating a change.

There are more parts you can opt into, that is just the research I have done so far. I can update the post with other parts as I become interested or things break . Feel free to share additional parts and I will modify the original post.

- 9011 Clear Body (go for the painted one if you prefer)

- 9017 Skid Plate Roof
- 9012 Tailgate Protector
- 6739 Front Shock Tower (needed for hoss style mounting system)
- 6738 Rear Shock Tower (needed for hoss style mounting system)

Looks good! All I can think of to make it better is the Hoss light kit!

Did they release one?? I actually ran the truck tonight in the park and thought it would be nice to have lights. Unless you mean the stampede kit. Unsure about how durable that one is.

Do the stampede 4x4 front and read bulk heads bolt right up? No issues?

My bad, I'm an idiot, I was thinking about the MAXX. Though I am wondering if the MAXX's light kit would fit, or maybe even the Rustler 4x4's bumper light bar.

Great post! I've been waiting to see someone do this to see if that's the route I want to go, chassis wise. I just built the Stampede 4x4 kit too. Switched to a brushless Hobbywing set up almost immediately, have been upgrading the driveline and camber links and what not until I figure out where I want my build to go. Waiting on MIPs to get here, I started breaking axles once I put some Mashers on.
