Looking for pictures of how the 4s 6700 lipos sit in the battery tray instructions dont exactly show how and it seems like you have to force the wires a bit which I don't like to do I think I have it figured properly but would just like to see what others are doing.
Post a pic of your wire exit.
I ran my 6700 trx packs only a few times before selling them. They performed very well, but we're too heavy for my diff and shock tune. Got 5200's that saved 40% of the weight.
Anyways, I do not remember having an issue with the wire exit. I do remember that the wire exit was at the front of the battery compartment.
Edit:
I do remember the wires were long, and those big connectors flopping around concerned me.

Ya can't polish fertilizer...
I put my non trx battery wires towards the front of remembered correctly. It is what ever end gives you the move excess of wire

I never did have issues with my batteries wires, the X-Maxx battery trays are big and fits all the Traxxas battery models and aftermarket too.
I believe I just taped them down to the battery doors the few times I ran the trx batts.

I put one of the battery wires under the battery hold-downs instead of forcing them around and over.
I put mine this way
