Hope everyone's well.
Getting Traxxas Link Tomorrow. I am a little bit afraid to do updates. I hear the app forces you to do them and it bricks the car, or messes things all up. Not too sure.
Can yall give me tips and advice on this.
Going to be running on Android And the ERBE2 if that matters, Thanks

I’ve had the traxxas link for my revo since day 1 and I haven’t had any issues with updates. Make sure you have full charged batteries in everything, place it all close together, and don’t touch anything once you get the process started. Just let it sit and do it’s thing. I haven’t had any issues so far.

When I first installed mine, I did have to do the whole throttle/brake recalibrate thing. I honestly thought it bricked my truck at first, but I wasn't following the directions correctly. After feeling dumb, and swallowing my pride a bit, I got it going. Haven't had any issues since. But, iirc, it did force my to do another update a month or so after installing it, which then required my to recalibrate yet again.
