Rear bumper broke first day new x maxx

Broke my rear bumper on one side after landing on it on concrete at the skate park truck went straight up then straight down on the back bumper couldn't correct it in the air because of how it went up wondering what is a stronger aftermarket rear bumper.

Perhaps tbone racing. But doubt it will hold up any better than stock.

Skate parks are hard on the cars. Mass * Acceleration to concrete. Something will break at some point. Anytime I go to a park I expect to break something... Or I look for places I can then land on grass vs concrete.

Last time I took xmaxx to skate park was raining some and fishtailed out of a deep 6ft+ bowl due to poor tractiin. And came out wrong and hit the edge of the park just right and tumbled into the adults watching... thankful didn't hurt anyone.

Ended up breaking rear bulkhead. Broke rear diff cover, diff gear and pinion. About 50$ in parts. And 2 to 3h labor...

These could help. I have not looked into them. Mine are tweaked but still functioning.

Just be glad only a bumper...

Skate parks can be fun but don't push it to much or know you got repair bill and time.

I find all the local skate parks say no rc cars and to many kids on them. I won't run if can't be safe with it.

Look for local bmx or bike pump tracks. All I find say no rc cars as well and the rider complain to me......

unsanctioned bmx/pump tracks at parks have been my best bet but I have to search for them by visiting many parks / google map sat view. Talking to people at local hobby shops.

Only 2 outside dirt rc tracks in my whole state...

So I made / then bought ramps to take to my local park field to go bash.

It's a very good choice, I have the front and rear supports and are great.

Mine is on the opposite cause by a nose dive. Into my excitement I played half, concrete on one side grass on the other side. But I did both the jump which landed sometimes on the concrete nose first.
