Paddle Tire Question

I am getting some paddle tires for my Maxx to run in the snow. Does anyone have any opinion on what is better for the tires in the wet. Do you vent the outside of the tires or just seal up the hole on the wheels?

It's probably best to seal it completely, since it's simpler and less likely to fail.

Do they make paddle tires sized specifically for the Maxx? I see many people putting oversized tires on (and I assume gearing down so it isn't too much load on the system).

I went with the E-Revo paddle tires for my Maxx. I did not see any 2.8 type paddle tires out there. Proline's paddle tire listed for the Maxx is also a 3.8.

I used the entire E-Revo wheel/tire combo.

I don't own a Maxx so not sure on compatibility but Traxxas makes the paddle tire in 2.8 if this helps.

These are a 12mm Hex so good for a Stampede, etc. I have these for my son's Bigfoot #1. Won't fit the Maxx, it's 17mm.
