Hi I was just wondering how to make a trx-4 G500 look more realistic when crawling. In videos of other crawlers I see when it drops down off of a rock it like wobbles back and forth, but with mine it just sort of hits the ground and that's it. I was wondering if adding weight to the chassis or the portal weights would help or if it is mainly the shocks.

this video is an example of what I mean, just look at the difference with the G500 and defender. you can see what I'm talking about at 1:30 into the video

It's mainly the shocks.
To get the wobble, either remove the shock oil completely or add some very light shock oil, like 10wt.
No shock oil or light shock oil will make your car worse at sidehilling but will increase flex and make it drive more realistically.
The higher weight oil you use, the less wobble you'll get.
Jumping: maneuver and pray it won't break.
I think the Defender has no shock oil, which is why it's bouncy. Just remove the shock oil and it should look more realistic. You can try lighter shock oil weights as well. I use 10W, but it is still a bit thick if you want to make it look bouncy.
Everyday's a gift, thus now is called the present.
I think no shock oil is a bad idea, maybe for routes is good, if you want to crawl or climb, the oil is needed.
Must be missing something, did not see anything unusual.

Also.... those vids are running slightly slow motion about 10% slower... just enough to give a scale "weight" look.
If you REALLY want that look checkout Superscale.com wow!
I tried to order but dude hasn't responded.
