Hiya! So a while ago I saw an idea on a forum about transforming a gas car to electric and when my revo motor exploded I decided it would be a fun idea to try. I have started stripping it and rebuilding it and the structure part is done. It works but only for a short while because the spur gear keeps getting shredded. I'm running a 55 spur gear and 25 on the pinion. The issue I thought it was an issue with the gear pitch which is 48 and I thought that if I did .8 or 1 pitch it wouldn't shred as easily. Any thoughts? Here are some pictures.
