Those won’t fit a 1/16 compartment of you linked a particular battery. Most drone 3S packs(1300mah) will fit.

How would you get those batteries to fit in the battery compartments? They are 3/4 the size of the MERV.



SMC stop making batteries for the mini's. I have a bunch of their 3s batteries and they are great. I wish they did still make the smaller packs.

I recently picked up a pair of these. They're cheaper than the Gens Ace, but seem to be holding up well so far, and they're comparable to the Gens Ace in performance. https://www.amazon.com/Ovonic-1400mA.../dp/B07L6BNTDV

I still use the Traxxas charger, but you'd probably be better off getting an aftermarket charger. From what I've read on here, you can get a decent lipo charger for under $100.
Someone with more experience could probably point you in the right direction, as far as the charger goes.

The only 3s I have bought for my MERV was a Venom battery. I settled on it because at the time the price was only $19.99 but when SMC dropped their MERV battery the price shoot up.

I bought 2 3s Ovionic 1300mah batteries in amazon for 22 bucks. Plenty of power and they last for a while too. They fit great with room to spare.
