Or at least didn't seem reasonable.

Wow, that looks great! What modifications did it take to fit the MAXX light kit? I would totally put one on mine if the bumpers were easy enough to attach.

Heated the Revo front bumper mount to make the holes line up. Drilled two holes in rear bumper to make holes line up.

I used some metal brackets i then modded and used orginal screw holes. So far bumpers holding. Also if have a 3d printer someone made a adapter on thingverse. You can download and print. I have a post up on what I did. But I can see how Op method works as well.

So must put on a wire protector sleeve. Wires to small and breakable to not have one.

I have a thread on what I did to make mine work. And on my xmaxx thread where I mounted rear light on bumper vs body. I have what wire protector I used listed.

I literally made an extension without modifying the original connector. I also made a longer extension for the XMAXX to the rear bumper so I didn’t have to use the wire loom of 12 wires for a 4-wire system.

Trx support told me they were proprietary connectors, and only way to "fix my busted connector was to buy a whole new bumper.

To me seemed like a standard connectors but couldn't figure it out on a quick search.

I wanted to replace the wires with larger like servo sized wires.

As my wires got busted from not putting in a wire loom.

The connectors on the LED lights from the Kit are Micro ZH 1.5mm 3-pin. Not proprietary at all, but Traxxas says that because most people don’t know they can be replaced. I’ve repaired countless LED lights from the Maxx, UDR, and XMAXX.

Thanks for the link. I did buy a new light as the rear led bar pcb broke into multiple peices so only a 2 leds on the bar would light up currently.

Seems that the mod I did for mine on my xmaxx to have light below bumper vs in the body. Has just enough flex that it will break the fragile led pcb.

That same led has a out 5 different solder patch jobs in the cable as well from damage,. As shrink wrap was not protective enough. I've since moved to a 1/8in wire loom. But wanted to retro fit with larger gauge wires as well. But without knowing the connectors type ( which I do now thanks to you ). I can fix things better once they break again.
