As in both front wheels try to drive forward and both rear wheels try to drive backwards?

I think you got it... One of them went back in flipped left/right. So the gear mesh changed sides and as a result so did the output direction.

Geez, I'm trying to think what parts you'd have to flip to get that combo. Still scratching my head. I know you have the answer but let me think for a minute

To be clear, I'm guessing with my solution. But it would explain things. It would also be kind of a bad design though if the diffs could be flipped left/right.

I don't think flipping the center diff would do this. Only flipping a front or rear diff.

I'm thinking if the front wheels are pulling the way they're supposed to then take your rear diff cup and flip it over. Using the paint can as a visual of just turning over and the left being where the right was.

Unless it's the front one that is reversed, and the motor direction is also reversed (needs wires switched)

I wouldn't worry about the wiring order yet. Sort the diffs first. Having the wrong wire sequence is an easy fix once everything else is sorted.

Is this an Erevo 2.0? If it is I don't see how the Front/Rear diffs could be flipped the wrong way. The bulkheads only allow the diff gears to be installed one direction.

Did you take apart the center diff in the transmission?

If I unhook both drive shafts. When I spin the gear they should turn the sanme direction .

Being a V1 erevo, it's possible to have installed one of the differentials installed flipped over. Either your front or rear differential is installed wrong. Here is a picture showing how they should be installed.

I'm not sure there is that much from the Erevo 2.0 installed on your Erevo V1. It looks like the transmission is the only thing installed. The Erevo 2.0 has different differentials and bulkheads. Also uses different axles. It's the entire driveline that makes them different.

No need to apologize. Your in the right place. There is two different versions, that's all.

It's easier to help when we know what truck we're talking about.

Traxxas themselves make this model confusing. The V1 was called Erevo brushless and they call the new one Erevo VXL brushless. Pretty much the same name.

Ur fine man. Regardless it's the same issue. I think what I would do to troubleshoot is take all the skid plates off the bottom and visually look for where the shafts are spinning opposite direction. At that point is where you'll find the issue/something flipped.

For it to be correct, at the the transmission it should drop down and have the front center and rear center driveshaft spinning the same direction. Wordy but hopefully that makes sense

Take out the diff. Look at the housing for the diff. You'll see a little triangle. Make sure the triangle is pointed up when you reassemble it . That should fix your problem.

Grizzly03 is exactly correct. One of your diffs is upside down

The er v1 diffs can 100% be put in backwards.
Guilty of it myself. It went in easier backwards than the right way shockingly lol
