Did it come with a revo style manifold? If not, the stock one won't work with it. I only ran the 18TM and 21TM engines in my revos, never the TZ. I run a THS revo pipe on them, but I use associated 1/10th exhaust gaskets vs the one that comes with the pipe as it's a bit thicker/not ribbed to fit the 2.5/3.3 engines.

    Carb arm for revo/slayer: https://www.amazon.com/Engines-23818.../dp/B000X4J0SG
    Gasket for header: https://www.amazon.com/Engines-21427.../dp/B000X4KTAO
    OS header: https://www.gravesrc.com/os-exhaust-manifold-revo.html

The 18TZ uses the same carb as the 18/21TM, the 11K slide, it just has a different arm on it.

I find that the arm is a bit too short though, so I shim up the pivot piece with a couple washers, or the arm barely touches the pivot.

I turned the carb and carb slide arm to work better. I turn the carb so the carburetor slide arm goes into the pivot arm assembly more. And then also adjusted the carb arm angle to fit better in the pivot arm slot.

Also not sure if the OS arm fits on the Losi 3.4 carb? OP said they had a "18tz/3.4 losi carb engine".

I missed that. Not sure why you would run that though. The os carb is really good.

I did try the 3.4 carb on my 3.3, but it kept binding on me no matter how I situated the carb/arm/linkage. I ended up running an old OS 11K carb on it I had from a very tired 18TM until I eventually replaced the engine with a 21TM. Was a very solid carb, easy to tune and would hold it all day long.

I had a old losi 3.4 from a jato I acquired, it works not sure as performance wise yet but the carb that came on the motor was a rolling barrel type so I just swapped it

Now I’m a little confused about the crank issue do I need to shorten the threads or something ?
