    Help with new motor

I just ordered the AXE 550 FOC combo.

Am I going to need a BEC?
I'm also looking for aluminum axles, or better.

    I run:

    Chanquish Beadlocks
    Long arm lift
    Samix brass (all over)

    3 EcoPower 640 micro servo

    Samix +8mm Hex adapter

The ESC has a 6A BEC, which should be more than plenty for just about anything you throw at it. It also has two voltage settings, 6 and 7.2, the manual I found says your RX should be able to handle the higher voltage with no problems, but I would verify that before putting power to it.

I agree with Greatscott that the internal BEC of the Hobbywing is pretty strong. However, it's probably better to stay at 6V, since the Eco Power shift servos can take 6V tops.
Everyday's a gift, thus now is called the present.

Agree with Greatscott and RCWilly, the internal BEC of AXE systems are perfect and powerfull.
