La Trax Alias Not Flying

I have an Alias that is a few years old, but suddenly my Alias literally dropped out of the sky. No motor malfunction, just everything turned off as if I lost the connection. I went back inside, and when I tried to fly it next, the remote immediately unarms.

When I try to arm the remote without the Alias powered on, I can move the joysticks, and nothing happens, no un-arming or anything. But when I arm the remote, it immediately un-arms. I have tried binding them, but I can't find the problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

Update:
After pressing a lot of random buttons on the remote, I am able to get the motors running for the split second that the remote is "armed," I think that this is a problem with the remote, and not the drone. Is there any way to do a full reset of the remote? The reset that I have found does not work. Thanks!
