Replacement Camber Link doesn’t have same hallow ball

    Hi,

Nitro Slash: I’m replacing the left rear camber link. The manual shows part 3644.

However, it appears that the hollow ball on one end is slightly different than what came with the original vehicle.

In the picture you can see the new one on the right.

(First picture is one side of the links, the seconds picture the other side, of both links).

All in all, everything matches except the bottom hollow ball - the new one appears to be flush and small on both sides.

The original is not like this...any ideas ?

    Thank You.

I see the "Special Instructions for Slash Rear Camber Links" mentions using a different screw for the mounting at the shock mount....

Is this where the different end is used and the screw makes up for it ?

I had a similar issue when I broke my turnbuckle on my slash 4x4. Just took the old ball stud out of my broken turnbuckle and put it in the new one. You’ll see one side is smaller. Get something small enough to apply pressure and it will pop out. There is a tool you can buy. I just used a 2mm Allen key there easier to get in then out.
