    Second receiver

Can a TQ 2.4 transmitter (itís about 5 years old) be bound with two receivers (#6519)? One receiver is brand new. Iíve only been able to bind one at a time.

You should be able to bind up to 20 (#6519) receivers to one TQ transmitter.

Are you trying to use more than one receiver at the same time?

    Reference this:

You can only run one receiver at a time.

Just bind the second receiver the same way as you would for the first one.

No, . I’m trying to bind my tx to a new rx. It will bind, but then the other rx doesn’t work.
Background story is that I own a 2wd stampede about 5 years old, somebody gifted me a 2 wd slash with no receiver. I bought a new rx and I can bind it but then the other doesn’t work.
    Can’t I bind both?

Yes you should be able too.

Bind the first receiver. Turn everything off.
Bind second receiver. Turn everything off.
Now the transmitter should connect to either the first truck or the second truck when turned on.

Sometimes I've had better luck turning the truck (receiver) on first (before the transmitter) when switching vehicles.

Thanks, okay I will try in the morning. Makes sense. Probably user error, but I’m following manual instructions.

That's odd. I have one receiver bound to all three of my trucks.

I think you meant one transmitter, or at least hope so.
It would be quite the trick to use one Rx, LoL

Yes, transmitter. And of course now I can't edit my original post.
That would be one heck of a feat!!

Okay , darn frustrating.....I’m unable to bind both RX’s. I’m able to get both bound but not at the same time. When I bind the Stampede the Slash becomes unbound, when I bind the Slash the Stampede becomes unbound. I have no problem binding one or the other, ugghhh but not both. Is there some magic trick I’m missing?

Maybe you can try doing a master reset of your transmitter?

It should keep the memory of both.

Here is a video from Traxxas doing a reset on a TQi. I think it works on the TQ transmitter also.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. My transmitter doesn’t have a menu button.
What’s frustrating is that the two receivers are identical. As mentioned, I can bind both individually. But as soon as I bind one then the other is unbound. Can’t seem to keep them both bound.

Wish I knew a fix to help you more. The transmitter should remember each and work with whichever vehicle you want to use without the need for re-binding.
Thinking a call to Traxxas support might be able to help.
